The award ceremony of the Czech Society of Cinematographers Awards was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. A Professor of the Department of Cinematography, Vladimír Smutný, won the Award for The Painted Bird. The Organisation for Protection of Authors and the Association together awarded a recent graduate of the Department, Faraz Alam, for his film Between the Lines as an extraordinary work in the field of visual film concept
