At FAMU KK, Jindřich Kočí teaches seminars of film and television scenography where the students learn about the basic principles of the scenographer’s work, exterior composition issues and the history and development of the film scenography.

Jindrich Kočí was born in 1956. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague; in 1981, he graduated as an architecture major. He worked as an assistant production designer at the Barrandov Film Studio and, from 1989 on, as production designer – scriptwriter. Since 2012 he has been working with FAMU; he also teaches at the DAMU Department of Stage Design.
