Director, producer, teacher

Academically, Roman Kasparovsky focuses on the methods of and trends in visual narrative of contemporary world film and television productions in connection with the great cinematographers, especially cameramen and directors.

Roman Kašparovský was born in 1975. He graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy in Ústí nad Labem and the Department of Production, FAMU; in 2015, he successfully completed his PhD studies at FAMU. He does film and television work, and he also teaches at the University of Economics. He is fluent in English and has a basic command of Russian.
