At the Department of Cinematography, Petr Hojda teaches a cinematographic seminar which aims to prepare students for the career of a Director of Photography, and lectures on the light and tonal compositional methods in cinematographic image.

Petr Hojda was born in Prague in 1956. At the Graphic School Prague, he studied photography and then graduated from the FAMU Department of Cinematography. He is currently working mainly in film and television.
