Cameraman, teacher

Antonín Weiser’s academic specialisation is both classic and digital trick film techniques and technologies. He supervises practical exercises in basic and contemporary visual effects as well as a workshop focusing on Photoshop use by cameramen.

Antonin Weiser was born in 1952. Having graduated from FAMU Dept. of Cinematography in 1979, he worked at the Barrandov Film Studio as a director of visual effects and, subsequently, of photography. He has taught at FAMU since 1994. He holds a European patent, "Artebox" (2006). He has worked as the Director of photography on over 1,200 TV entertainment programs, 314 TV and 41 feature films, and 33 documentaries along with 54 commercial ads.
